I just can't put into words how much I love food. Truth be told, I use holidays as an excuse to stuff my face. Never mind the history or tradition, just give me some butter-drenched goodness, that's all I care about. Unfortunately, my passion for food does not quite extend to the kitchen. Those who know me well, know that you would very rarely find me cooking up a storm. In fact I probably cook more on Thanksgiving than all other days of the year combined.
Nevertheless, every mid-October you can find me slaving away over the stove, finally putting my cute aprons to good use. Poor things are quite neglected most days of the year . . . I paired my lovely two-toned embroidered green apron with a beaded pink cardigan and side bun and I was ready to whip up a feast!
Not to mention, I get to pull out all the stops presentation-wise (I have quite a soft spot for decor). And to all our Canadian readers, here's hoping you had as tasty a Thanksgiving as I did!
