The British Isles
F21 hat/Le Chateau gloves/vintage boots/coat and scarf from China
My favourite winter coat is a keeper for a reason. You too can achieve countless cute looks with something so classic and versatile. If you're like me and don't really have a few extra hundred bucks lying around to buy new coats every winter, you end up repeating a lot of looks with the same coat. But what's so great about your classic coats is, you can build around the main piece with accessories. Not only do they add that extra bit of warmth you so desperately need in the dead of winter, but they can really diversify your wardrobe in a way to make you feel like you practically got a new coat without forking much dough!
And ever since my trip to Scotland this past summer, I've been kind of obsessed with tartan. It's so colourful! And it's a print that's pretty timeless and easy to pull off. You really can't go wrong with a plaid skirt or scarf in the chillier months. Throw in a neutral wool hat, brown tweed gloves and some lace-up boots and you're ready to frolic in the snow. I just love the "British" feel to this look! It's so simple, but all class with none of the drab.
Stay tuned on the blog for another globe-trotting winter look with my favourite camel coat!

Holiday Glam
Top: Topshop / Skirt: H&M / Shoes: Zara
Last weekend, I visited Mont-Tremblant for a little pre-Christmas relaxation and pampering. Although the city is most known for its ski resort, we spent most of our time lounging around the hotel and listening to Christmas music, to be honest. Needless to say, it was fantastic!
For my evening outfit, I pulled out some of my favourite holiday classics including my red shoes and this sparkly collar. A real simple ensemble that I like to call Holiday Glam... Work it, ladies!

Holiday Preppy
Shirt: Joe Fresh / Dress: H&M / Boots: Zara / Necklace: Expression via The Bay
Just another classic black and white ensemble but this time, holiday appropriate. It's kind of fun but kind of serious. Simply adding a collared shirt under a dress is a great way to breathe new life into a plain dress and make a much more interesting outfit. I really particularly love the combination of a white button-down shirt which is all business contrasted with a boot that's just all fun, peaking over the knee a tiny bit. Hope you enjoy!

Cozy Sweater Season
Sweater, hat and scarf: Joe Fresh / Pants: H&M
It's definitely that time of year in Montreal...sweater season! I always love to brighten up my winter wardrobe with a few bright sweaters and this Joe Fresh pink number has been one of my favourites as of late. As you may have noticed, I'm a big fan of Joe and why wouldn't I be? The quality/price ratio is some of the best I've seen and sometimes the convenience of picking up a cute top while you are grocery shopping is the most heavenly combination of two worlds: food and fashion. Peace out, frockers.
